At BABY&Me, we objectively verify the safety and comfort of our products and have them certified and evaluated by specialized organizations in Japan and overseas, in order to support babies and their families in spending time with peace of mind.

Obtained SG mark

The SG mark is a certification system based on safety standards established by the Japan Product Safety Association. This certification is given only to products that have passed rigorous testing by a third-party organization, with detailed regulations including product structure, warnings, and instruction manuals.
BABY&Me complies with baby carrier safety standards (CPSA0027) and has acquired the SG mark.
*The SG mark system applies to children of 1 month to 36 months (up to 15 kg). Use of the hip seat alone is not applicable.

Obtained human life engineering certification

Human Life Engineering Certification is a system that evaluates the functionality of products developed based on human physical, psychological, and lifestyle characteristics. BABY&Me is the first baby carrier in the baby carrier industry to be certified by the Center for Human Life Sciences (HQL).
This shows that manufacturing that is close to people and realizes "safety, security, comfort, health, and convenience" is scientifically supported.

Acquired IHDI (International Hip Dysplasia Institute) certification

The International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the burden of hip developmental abnormalities in infants and young children. BABY&Me is officially certified by IHDI as a baby carrier that maintains normal hip alignment and does not cause hip dysplasia or dislocation.

Baby Carrier Safety Council (JCCS)

The Baby Carrier Safety Council (JCCS) is an organization established to protect the safety of infants and baby carrier users. Participating companies learn about infant development, safety standards, and risk management, and promote awareness of the correct way to use baby carriers.
BABY&Me is active as a member of JCCS in order to expand the amount of time we can spend safely interacting with babies by manufacturing reliable products and providing accurate information.
