What is the Kids Design Award?
The Kids Design Award is a "awarding system that covers all products, services, spaces, activities and research that take into consideration the birth and raising of children." In other words, it is an initiative to recognize good things that are beneficial to children or are useful for raising children, and to make them known to the public.
When it comes to awards that are awarded by evaluating products, the Good Design Award, which is given to things with excellent designs, and the Monde Selection medals and trophies that are given to products with high technical standards, but as the name suggests, the Kids Design Award is characterized by targeting products and services that are 0 to 15 years old, or for raising children.
Starting in 2007, applications are accepted and screened once a year. The 18th winning work was announced in August 2024.
The award consists of five categories and five categories.
Each department will review what kind of child perspective they have and how the benefits of users are considered, and awards will be given to products and services that are recognized as "designs that contribute to the creation of a society where children and children are born and raised."

What categories and categories are there?

Fuji Youchien
